The purpose of the East Hanover First Aid Squad shall be the emergency care of the injured and sick, by rendering first aid and transportation thereof to hospitals or other medical treatment and care.

DAYTIME HELP NEEDED!!! The East Hanover First Aid Squad serves East Hanover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Members are an important asset to our squad, however, we need more. Currently we are in desperate need for day time crews to staff the ambulance between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm. New Officers for 2010 With every new year comes new elections inside od the East Hanover First Aid Squad and as of January 1, 2010, those new officers have taken there office and are in the beginnings of continuing our success. The first aid squad would not have elections or any type of success if it weren't for the residents and companies of the township who show us more and more support each year! But without members we will not be able to continue our services to the township of East Hanover. To view the list of the officers for 2008, go to the Officers and Members page. The 2008 officers will be formally installed by the township mayor on February 20, 2010 at our Installation Dinner. |
The East Hanover First Aid Squad took part in a Drunk Driving Simulation at Hanover Park High School on April 2009. The school administrators were asked to choose several students whom are well known throughout the high school to be used as "actors" in the simulation. The students were then placed into wrecked vehicles and the simulation was then played out to all the other students in a real-life simulation. Also taking part in the simulation were the East Hanover Police Department, East Hanover Fire Department, Florham Park First Aid Squad, Florham Park Fire Department and Atlantic Health Systems Paramedics. |
